Rafting trip, Summer 2004

Look closely at this picture. It was taken from our raft floating on the Colorado River near Moab. In the center, you can see 3 rugged spires. I believe that our guide told us that they represented 3 individuals (3 sisters, 3 apostoles, "My Three Sons," I can't remember -- if you know what this promontory is called, add a comment).

I took these photographs on the Troop 626 High Adventure Colorado River rafting trip in 2004. Images include Rife Falls in Western Colorado, Arches National Monument, cheap motel in Sterling, CO, and images along the Colorado. I used my 5.1 megapixel HP point and shoot camera, which is long dead and replaced by my current 8 megapixel Canon Rebel (Thanks, girls!)
