Day 6: Spoon to Upper Knife then on to Ottertrack Lake

Taken in late afternoon on the Upper Arm of Knife Lake

My trip was pretty much Robert Beymer's 7-day Lake Trout Loop, 27-2, in BWCA, Western Region, with the following exception: I set up camp mid-day on the Upper Arm of the Knife on Day 6, then I paddled east to the end of Knife and onwards to Ottertrack Lake to Benny Ambrose's homestead. Then I compressed the last two days of Beymer's itinerary and completed in seven days.

Here's the view from Ambrose's homestead on Ottertrack Lake. This is a small cove on a large lake that borders Canada.
